Laufen expands premium portfolio with glazed steel

From January 1, 2026, all existing Alape series will be marketed under the Laufen brand umbrella. The Swiss brand is thus expanding its range to include premium products made of glazed steel and establishing the area around the washbasin as the most flexible design space in the bathroom. With the integration of glazed steel, known as Laufen Vitreon steel, the company is taking a logical step towards creating a holistic bathroom experience.

Wittmann | Making of JOSEPH How truly unique pieces are created in the Lower Austrian furniture workshops

JOSEPH, designed by Philippe Nigro, is a contemporary design that perfectly reflects the expertise of the company. Its production requires many professions under one roof, the most precise craftsmanship and many years of experience. The armchair is French designer Philippe Nigro’s first design for Wittmann – a tribute to Josef Hoffmann and Viennese Art Nouveau. The design impresses with its precision: a grid-shaped quilted outer shell contrasts with a smooth, soft seat and backrest.
