KARTELL wins SALONE DESIGN AWARD

SCHLOSSBERG X ARTWORKS
The Swiss bedding manufacturer Schlossberg Switzerland presents SCHLOSSBERG X ARTWORKS – an artful capsule collection that reissued artist and movie director Peter Greenaway’s design for Schlossberg from 1995. Greenaway’s bedding artwork for Schlossberg is a typographic pattern that shows parts from his film scripts – an avant-garde designed combination of text, typography and drawing.

Lapo Elkann and Garage Italia Customs reinterpret Kartell icons using the car wrapping techniquein a special limited edition series. To coincide with the Salone del Mobile, the Flagship Store in ViaTurati became an authentic creative workshop for customizing Kartell products with exclusiveartistic reinterpretations, inspired by the traditional colours of the Nations and the automotiveindustry, along with fashionable patterns such as houndstooth, pinstripes and tartans.
